Mr Bow: A Beginner's Guide

So you've got a bow, a bunch of stickman enemies, and a mouse. That's really all there is to it on paper, but Mr Bow gets trickier the moment wind and distance start messing with your shots. First thing to figure out is your draw strength versus how far the target actually is — pull too soft and the arrow drops short, yank too hard and it sails clean over their head. Give yourself a few throwaway shots at the start of each stage just to feel out the arc before you commit to anything that matters.

Key Combinations

• Click and hold the mouse button to nock the arrow and start your draw.
• Drag backward to set the power of your shot before letting go.
• Move the mouse up or down while holding to adjust your aim angle.
• Release the click at the right moment to fire toward the enemy archer.
• Reposition the cursor slightly between shots to compensate for wind drift.

Top Tips

• Watch the enemy stickman's stance for a beat before shooting — a lot of them telegraph their own draw, giving you a window to line up first.
• Don't rush the release. A half-second of patience usually beats a panicked flick every time.
• If there's any wind indicator on screen, actually read it. Ignoring it is the fastest way to waste arrows on shots that looked perfect but drifted wide.
• Shorter ranges reward a flatter trajectory, while longer ones need a noticeably higher arc, so don't use the same draw for every target.
• Missing once isn't the end of the world. Use that shot to recalibrate your angle rather than just repeating the exact same motion out of frustration.
• Stay loose with your wrist on the drag — jerky mouse movements tend to throw the whole shot off before you even release.
